| Description | People do, indeed, walk in L.A., regardless of what certain 1980s New Wavers say. This year, the Great Los Angeles Walk—thrown by the folks behind the L.A. blog Franklin Avenue—will hike the entire length of Santa Monica Boulevard, and more. Take this chance to see your city up close, meet fellow citydwellers... and work off some pounds the Saturday before Thanksgiving! More room for mashed potatoes! Walk kicks off at 9 a.m. sharp at Union Station and ends around 5 p.m. (or whenever you mashed potato asses arrive) at the ocean. |
