Apocalyptica
Oh, how the Roxy will sway and swoon this Monday! You wanted the rock, get ready for Bach! Well, not really: The four Finns of Apocalyptica are metal-loving dudes who just happen to play cellos instead of guitars. (Actually, one of them is a drummer.) Years after the quartet’s 1996 debut, Plays Metallica by Four Cellos, the group has gone on to a surprisingly long-lasting career, releasing no less than five studio albums of original material, along with constantly touring mainland Europe. This stop in L.A., in support of current album Worlds Collide, is a rare occurrence, and should make for a night of international bonding among open-minded fans. (Mon. at the Roxy, 9009 W.
